Daddy said I've grown so much that I can sit in my tub sling with no extra support now.  I'm such a big girl!

 Daddy took Cookie to see his new workplace.  Mommy and I tagged along.

Time to go sleep

I fell asleep hanging out with Daddy in his bed.  I slept right through my bath time too.  Don't worry, I screamed for Mommy to come and get me for my midnight feeding.  I had to change into my nightgown and sleep into my crib then.

Reading time at EPL

Mommy and I went to the public library to drop off and pick up her library books and movies.  We visited the children's section to read a book.  Since there wasn't a lot of kids in the area, Mommy let me down on the play rug.  It's very colorful.

What's up!

Patiently waiting for Mommy to put her socks and shoes on.  I'm on my way to daycare.  I'll just sit here all warm and snuggly.

MILESTONES: Knows her bottle

Dear Tutu,

I love my bottle!  When I see one I get so excited because I know I am going to eat real soon.  Mommy will hold the bottle to me and I can grab it using both of my hands.  I can also direct the nipple into my mouth without poking my nose or eyes.

I can hold my bottle by myself and can lift it up to get more food in my mouth now that I eat sitting up.  Mommy said I'm such a big girl now.

Another ear infection

Dear Tutu,

Daddy and Mommy took me to see the pediatrician again.  I've been very stuffy and irritable.  We found out I got another ear infection, only it's in my right ear this time.  I'm back on antibiotics.  I should be better in no time!

p.s. So the antibiotics didn't work like it did the last time.  This stronger one made me miserable with bouts of diarrhea and loss of appetite, and my butt turned bright red from rawness. Ouch! I went back in to see the pediatrician again and the new meds cleared everything up. I'm back to my happy self!

O is for my new Office

 Dear Tutu,

Mommy said I am a big girl now because I can play on my own and keep myself busy for an hour with little supervision.  Sometimes I'm in my office or on the floor.  Today I'm using my play mat that has toys suspended in the air that I can grab as well as my blocks, radio, car and stuff animals.  I love throwing and rolling my stuff around in the room.

Sometimes I'm distracted by the big TV when Mommy puts it on.  I like to look at the colors and the action on screen.  Mommy is usually in the kitchen or lying on the couch taking a nap.
