MILESTONES: It's my first birthday!

When I was born I weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. and was 20.5 inches long.
Now I weigh 26 lbs.and am 30 inches tall!
I have 8 teeth (and 1 molar on the way).
I'm in size 5 diapers.
I love dancing, the remotes, Mommy's phone, climbing on
everything, playing catch-me-if-you-can, flirting especially
with boys, waving hi!, swimming, and spending time outside!
I don't like putting on clothes and wiping my face clean.
My nicknames are Baby and Sophia.
My favorite foods are pizza and meatballs.
I can say Mom, Dad, ball, hi and bye.
I can run, climb up and down stairs, blow a kiss, clap my hands,
throw and kick a ball, play peek-a-boo, and put my toys in the box.
I have been to the swimming pool, the zoo, many parks, a baseball game,
up in the airport tower, and vacationed in North Carolina.

Birthday party at the park -- Welcome and lunch

Welcome to my party!
 Hi Uncle Michael!
And here's Aunt Tina, Uncle Mikey and my buddy Kyle
My girls are here! -- Fiona and Annabel with Aunt Jen
Grandma Chury, Uncle Bruce, Grandpa Rick came early to help set up.  Soon after Aunt Jessica and Uncle Andy came and helped with the balloons.
Uncle Kyle is here with my new ride -- help me get on it!
It's time for lunch!  There's fruit, salad and chips with sandwiches.  Thank you Cookie and Ken for providing lunch for all of us!
Nickholas, Vincenzo, Noelle and Aunt Peggi.  Where's Blaise and Uncle Tony?
You can't hide from us Blaise!
Everything tasting good, Grandma Chury, Grandpa Rick and Uncle Bruce?  There is Aunt Lorraine sitting with Uncle Michael in back.
 Look who's coming!
This is my older cousin Maya.  We tried playing together.  We like the same things, at the same time.
Okay the wind keeps blowing this balloon on my head!  Go away wind! Aunt Tammy is behind me.  She is Maya's mommy, Daddy's step-sister and Ken's daughter.
Four generations of Chury's -- Daddy, Great Grandma, Grandma and me
Uncle Kyle with his girlfriend Krissy, and Ken
Grandpa, Uncle and Grandma
To be continued...

Birthday party at the park -- cake and bike rides

It's cake and ice cream time!
Mommy made the chocolate smash cake on the left.  The caterers made the Hello Kitty cake for everyone to eat.
Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me!!
What? You want me to put my hand in that gooey brown stuff?  I don't think so!  It does taste yummy though!

While the wind blew out my candle, the boys were making their own fire.  Where's the flames Blaise, Vinny and Nick?
 Time to ride!
 The parking lot
My biking posse -- cousins Chase and Bryson, and girlfriends Fiona and Annabel
 Look Mom, no hands!
 Vroom, vroom!
Here comes Kyle on his mini Harley -- cool helmet!
Ride hard or ride home!

Birthday party at the park - opening presents and goodbyes

 Time to open presents!

I got a keyboard that records my music, a lock and latches barn, lego blocks,
and a wagon to hold all my lego blocks.
I started getting antsy and wanted to just run down the sidewalk and chase my friends riding their bikes.  Mommy came to hold me while Daddy continued to open my presents.
I got a horse ride, tons of clothes, more blocks, and magnets to put on the refrige.
I am trying to escape again now that my jacket is off and my diaper was changed.
To get my attention, Mommy gave me a Rice Krispie treat to eat.  Yum!
 Still there were more presents.
This gift bag was from Annabel and Fiona.  What did you get me?
I got a finger/hand painting set!  I think I'll invite my girls over to play with me one day.
I am getting irritable because I'm tired. Off went my shoes.
Look, I got a doll that is as big as me!
Finally the gifts are opened and I am free to roam with my friends.
Sharing my toys with Maya.  Or am I?
Time for everyone to go home.  Thanks for coming Aunt Jessica and Uncle Andy!
Have a safe ride home Maya, Aunt Tammy and Uncle Justin (not in picture)!
Aunt Megan and Reese, Korryn, Aunt Nikki and Uncle Dave showed up just in time before we left.  Thank you for stopping by to see me!

The after birthday party

Look what Mommy and Daddy got me for my birthday!  My own "monkey" jungle gym with two slides and a tunnel.  Its the same one we have at the daycare.  I love it!
After a short nap, we went to dinner with Aunt Nikki and Uncle Dave.  My pals Reese and Korryn were there too.  I didn't eat much even though Mom ordered me my favorite... meatballs.  I think I am still exhausted from all the fun today.
Yep, I'm exhausted.  Mommy too.  Good night everyone!

Birthday party decorations

Mommy worked hard making decorations for my birthday.  She made a birthday banner to put up at the pavilion and another cake for me to smash.
Here are the goodie bags my friends will get.  Everything has a bike theme.  There is a water bottle with a bike sticker from Swerve (Daddy's favorite bike shop), a juice pouch or Gatorade (depending on their age), cookies from Hawaii (Big Island Candy cookies from Tutu) as their "power bar" and candy from Hawaii as their "sugar supplement".
Any friend that brings their bikes to ride will get a medal made out of bike chain!  It has cool bike sayings like "Eat. Sleep. Ride", "Ride Hard or Ride Home" or "I Do My Own Stunts".  In the back it says "Tour de Alia" like Tour de France. (Mom also exchanged the cloth ribbon with a parachute-shoe lace ribbon... much cooler!)
Mom also made biking bibs for the bikes like riders get on a race.  Guess what number I'll have?
Mom kept going and made some Rice Krispie treats too.  Some were dipped in melted chocolate, some had sprinkles, some had both and some had none.
Mom!  You should go to sleep now so you're not tired tomorrow!
