The sun is out but we are not

Today is a special day for my Daddy and cousin Khyla.  Daddy has his moutain biking race in Mohican and Khyla is graduating from high school back in Hawaii.  Mommy and I missed both because we are not feeling well.  Mommy thinks I'm teething again.  I don't think she's teething.  We are missing the beautiful weather outside too.  Hopefully we will feel better soon!  Here is our sick selfie.

Kalohe!

"Kalohe" means mischievous in Hawaiian. And that is what I am today, taking out all the kleenex from its box.  I hear my Aunty Jennifer is kalohe too.  I guess that is a good thing, right?

 I even suck my thumb like my Aunty!  My gums hurt.

Mommy and Daddy picked me up from school today so we could participate in a school event.  I got really muddy and had help filling my pot with soil.

I'm not sure how I feel about dirt, oh Mommy calls it soil.  It makes my clothes and shoes dirty.  Yuck.

To my big brother Eric, what a bummer that the Melt was closed today.  We should have known -- it is a holiday after all!  I guess the Beer Engine and their burgers will have to do.  Mommy is going to miss you and Katie when you move back to Cali.  Maybe I'll come and visit you at your gym.  You can teach me more boxing moves.  Good luck!  Alia

My first parade... and I'm in it!

Mommy and Daddy brought me to see the Elyria Memorial Day Parade this morning.  Little did I know I would participate with Cookie and Ken.  They are representing the Kiwanis Club of Elyria.  I'm driving my stroller.

Oberlin Illumination

We went to a festival in Oberlin where Mommy works.  Uncle Mikey, Aunt Tina and Kyle joined us.  I danced and made a new friend in the dark.  I had fun!

I'm tall enough to reach Mommy's keys in the door knob.  Mommy thinks I'm going to run away already.

Steelers Sunday

 

Good morning!  Mommy and I played at home today.

 

I didn't listen to her at one point so I was put in timeout for 15 seconds in my playpen.  Little does she know I love my playpen.  I just jumped up and down all happy until she took me out of timeout.

 

Later we took Cookie to dinner for Mother's Day.  We thought it was a girls night out until Ken showed up.  I actually got to see Aunt Peggi and her family too.  They were there having dinner at the other end of the restaurant.

 

On our way home we stopped by Grandma Chury and Uncle Bruce's house to wish Grandma happy mother's day.  I like sitting on Uncle Bruce's tummy.
