NYC 2015: Day 8 - Seaport and Battery Park

December 5, 2015

And we are off!  We walked down South St. and the Pier in Seaport towards Battery Park.
There was a man riding a fat bike and a child bike cart down the pier. He played jamming music and we got to following him all the way to Pier 6 where all the helicopters were taking off and landing for tours.

We also walked passed the Sphere, the eternal flame and Castle Clinton National Memorial. Mom read later that the Sphere once stood in the Plaza of the WTC and was relocated to Battery Park.
