HAWAII 2016: Day 10: Pepeekeo & Hilo, Hawai'i

January 21, 2016
Daddy and I wake up early and Mommy sleeps in a bit. That's because I usually fuss around 1 a.m. and she gets up in the middle of each night to soothe me back to sleep.
Time to get our morning coffee!  Mommy drove us pass Honoli'i, a favorite surfing spot for local surfers and stand-up paddle boarders.
Daddy's happy now that he's gotten his fresh cup of morning coffee. While waiting in the drive-through line, Mommy took a picture of a typical Hilo Banyan tree.  It's huge!!  See the restaurant under it?
We headed back to Pepeekeo to visit Mommy's godparents, Uncle Bobo and Aunty Ernesta.  Uncle was Papa's best friend growing up and Aunty is Papa's sister.  That makes her my grand aunt.  They were very happy to meet me and to catch up with Mommy.  I enjoyed playing  with Aunty's trinkets and pots and pans. And crawling up and down the family room stairs.
